Private Lessons
One-on-one instruction tailored specifically to each student’s goals and pace. Great for children, teens, and adults!

• Piano, guitar, drum set, bass guitar, ukulele students
• Students who enjoy one-on-one instruction
• Families who prefer a traditional lesson experience

Piano Lab
Individualized instruction in a quiet, focused environment where students learn independently while still benefiting from a motivating studio atmosphere.

Mini Band
Learn with friends and family while developing the confidence and teamwork that comes from making music together.
Who’s it for?
• Ages 7–17, siblings, families
• Guitar, drum set, bass guitar, ukulele students (Piano students via assessment)
• Students enrolled in private lessons may also have opportunities to join a mini-band in the spring and prepare a group performance for our Spring Recital.

Piano Lab vs Private Lessons for piano students:
Most piano students in grades 2–12 thrive in Piano Lab because it combines individualized instruction with the motivation and encouragement of learning alongside other young musicians.
We typically recommend Private Lessons for ages 5–6, with many students transitioning into Piano Lab around age 7 as they become more independent learners.
For Guitar, Drum Set, Bass Guitar, and Ukulele Students:
We typically recommend private lessons for students who want complete freedom to choose the songs they learn.
Mini Band is ideal for siblings and friends who want to learn together while still receiving individualized instruction.
